THE SHAMAN TRANSMISSION

Doña Guadalupe, Huichol marakame (shaman), and internationally renown artist loved all tutus (flowers). This picture was taken two months before mi Abuela (my Grandmother), as we affectionately call her, crossed over to the realm of the Ancestors. While spending a few weeks at the Hotel Bouganvilia in Tepic, she told us that they were waiting for her in the parking lot, and that she was very happy to see them. I believe that mi Abuela is transmitting, as she looks out at us from this photograph, the love and kindness that she exemplified during her lifetime.
